The Wildwoods (Wildwood, North Wildwood, and Wildwood Crest)
The Wildwoods boast some of the largest free beaches in the U.S. and are known for being some of the widest on the East Coast. The Wildwood boardwalk runs for miles and is lined with amusement piers, water parks, and a retro doo-wop style of architecture, which is what separates the Wildwoods from other Jersey Shore towns. For the second consecutive year, USA Today readers have selected the Wildwoods as the #1 beach destination in New Jersey.
Cape May
Cape May offers an elegant blend of historic charm and some of the cleanest and prettiest beaches in NJ. The south-facing shoreline is typically very calm, and dolphins are commonly spotted. Quiet promenades, Victorian homes, and a slow-paced atmosphere contribute to Cape May’s status as a consistent favorite among locals and tourists alike, with Cape May regularly topping (and sometimes bottoming) statewide polls.
Ocean City
