Free live music is coming back to Camden County parks this summer, and the 2026 lineup is one of the strongest the county has announced in years. The Camden County Board of Commissioners officially released the full Summer Parks Concert Series schedule in April, covering seven venues across the county with performances running from early June through September.

Commissioner Director Louis Cappelli Jr. called the series a staple of a Camden County summer. “This year we have an incredible lineup prepared with something for everyone,” he said in the official announcement. “These concerts allow our residents to see world class performers, for free, right in our local parks.”

The series spans the county’s 2,700-acre park network, turning green spaces from Wiggins Park on the Camden waterfront to Winslow Township’s New Brooklyn Park into outdoor stages all season long. Here is a full breakdown of what is happening and where.

Sunset Jazz Series at Wiggins Park, Camden Waterfront

Mondays at 8 p.m., presented by Rutgers University Camden. This series brings nationally recognized jazz, R&B, and soul artists to the Camden waterfront with the Philadelphia skyline as a backdrop. The 2026 lineup is stacked.

Brian McKnight on June 15 and Kid ‘N Play on July 13 are two of the most anticipated dates on the waterfront calendar. These are not tribute acts. These are artists with decades of hits performing outdoors for free.

July 4th Freedom Festival at Wiggins Park

July 4: The Commodores. The Camden County Fourth of July celebration features one of the most recognizable names in soul music at Wiggins Park on the waterfront. It is one of the biggest single-date events of the summer and draws crowds from across South Jersey and the Philadelphia area.

Xponential Music Festival

September 18 to 20 at Wiggins Park. The XPoNential Music Festival, presented by WXPN, returns to the Camden waterfront for its annual three-day run. This festival is one of the most respected independent music events in the region, featuring a mix of established and emerging artists across multiple stages. Ticket and lineup details are available through WXPN’s official site.

Haddon Lake Park Sundown Music Series

Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. at the McLaughlin-Norcross Memorial Dell. This mid-week series runs through the heart of summer and features a mix of rock, indie, Latin, and classic sounds in one of the county’s most scenic park settings.

Sixpence None the Richer on July 29 will draw a dedicated crowd. The Verve Pipe on August 26 is another standout for anyone who grew up with 90s alternative radio.

Twilight Concert Series at Cooper River Park

Thursdays at 8 p.m. at the Jack Curtis Stadium, Cooper River Park. The Cooper River setting makes this one of the most popular series in the county. Cooper River Park is one of the most heavily used green spaces in South Jersey, and the outdoor concert atmosphere here is hard to beat.

The June 4 Pop 2000s Tour and July 16 with Al Jardine of the Beach Boys are two dates worth circling early. These draw multi-generational crowds and Cooper River Park fills up fast on big nights.

Lindenwold Park

Fridays at 7 p.m.

Suitcase Murphy is a South Jersey institution. If you have not seen them, June 26 at Lindenwold Park is a good entry point. The Springsteen tribute on August 7 is always a packed show.

Winslow Township, New Brooklyn Park

Starting at 6 p.m.

What to Know Before You Go

All concerts in the Summer Parks Series are free and open to the public. Bring lawn chairs or blankets. Food vendors are typically on site at larger venues. Wiggins Park on the Camden waterfront is accessible by the PATCO Speedline (City Hall/Rutgers station), which makes it easy to reach from Cherry Hill, Haddonfield, Collingswood, and across the Delaware River from Philadelphia.

For parking, arrive early at Cooper River and Wiggins Park events. Those locations fill up as showtime approaches, particularly for higher-profile acts.

The full schedule, including any additions or date changes, is maintained by the Camden County government website. Follow Camden County on social media for day-of updates, weather alerts, and any lineup changes before heading out.
